STUDENT LIFE

Sisterhood& Brotherhood

We first seek to give our members the information and orientation necessary to succeed in a professional career after graduation. The Princes & Princesses Of TuT (PTP) Honor Society also builds a feeling of sister/brotherhood and friendship, a support structure that each and every member can depend on and contribute to for the betterment of themselves and their sisters/brothers.

The Princes & Princesses Of TuT (PTP) Honor Society meshes both of these aims into one purpose: to build in our members a professional attitude and ethic while at the same time building relationships, both socially and professionally, which will be strong and long-lasting.

Pledges:

The pledge program is designed both to educate pledges about the Princes & Princesses Of TuT (PTP) Honor Society and also to familiarize each pledge with the sisters/brothers and traditions of the Chapter. As with any organization, knowledge of its history is necessary in the planning of its future. As a pledge, you will learn about a great deal of the forty plus year history of the PTPHS.

Pledge Responsibilities:

Pinning fee of $45, initiation fee of $90. Each pledge is expected to carry himself/herself responsibly. The actions of every member and pledge reflect on all of PTP. The most important guideline is to treat fellow pledges and brothers with respect and honesty.

Time Commitment:

At most times during the pledge program you can expect to spend a few hours a week working on your various responsibilities. This includes your required Professional Development Program activities, two meetings each week of approximately one hour each, and perhaps another two to three hours on other functions that will go toward fulfilling your pledge requirements.

The PTP Honor Society strives to make every moment that is spent purposeful; in other words, there is a real time commitment, but the advantages in education, friendship, and the building of a work ethic are worth every bit of time and effort.
